He's heavily dosed with painkillers to get around normally but it does feel weird and uncomfortable being poked.]

[And he immediately tugs on a stitch, his eyes shining with excitement and mischief.]

[Oh no what a shame he would hate to earn a fun reaction for his meddling! That's exactly what he wanted to hear, and he hums in satisfaction for it. He just wants Lahabrea to be a little annoyed, just a tolerable amount of pain to make him squirm. It's maybe a bit of sadism, it's true.

Turns out it's hard to just snap a stitch in your finger. So he lifts his tail and works on wedging the end between a couple stitches while he goes in for a kiss.]

[That'd be cuter if it weren't his flesh being messed with.

What Vergil gets for the effort when the stitches snap is Lahabrea making a pained and annoyed noise against his lips, the wound opening a little with the prodding and pulling.

He bites Vergil's lips grumpily.]
