His brow furrows. He wanted to mess with it. But now that he sees, it just makes him want to go murder Thancred right now. The hand in Lahabrea's hair tightens its grip.]

He puts up with his shirt being opened and leans back on a hand while Vergil looks at that. It looks older than one day! Healing wise! But not so old it doesn't still look, well, gross. Fresh stitched wounds aren't great.

He hisses at the hand in his hair, though, pulling his shirt to drape back over the wound when Vergil is obviously upset about it.]

[Speaking of destructive desire, though. His head is swimming with it, but with a new target. He wraps his arms around Lahabrea, holding him tight.]

[Never mind his internal kill bill sirens Vergil is right about how upset he'd be.]

[His grip loosens a bit. Fingers reaching to toy with the ends of his hair.]

Besides you're over that. I'm worried about this though. I know your proclivity for self-destruction is high, but if I have to keep you sedated for days I'll hardly know how to explain it to Five.

[He smiles a tiny bit at the reactions, briefly. Vergil is very cute when he's not musing on murdering Emet-Selch.]

You asked how I would do it. I think it was assumed to be "if I were to". Hurting him isn't on my mind, it just seems like the surest way to anger you enough, once I consider the method.

[He sighs. Vergil is right! He'll. Tone down the absolutely insane yandere that is only just a little leaking it's fine don't mind how much isn't showing.]

I do experience the whole spectrum of emotions like anyone else. When a loved on is hurt I cannot help being mad. You understand that quite well. I do recall telling you just today that I can be quite protective.

[He grins.]

I do recall. It helped in coming to that conclusion. You're lucky I don't feel like being so overtly cruel as to describe in detail what I would do to him.

[He isn't very amused! And he knows this is the reaction Vergil wants, he is in fact capable of stonewalling or feigning indifference, but he does not. He digs his nails into Vergil's neck instead.]

[That's fine he doesn't have to be amused. In fact, that's all the better for his current imp-induced mood. His smile grows and twists with the nails in his neck, and he grabs Lahabrea's tie to yank him in close.]

And here you are inviting me to come home with you...what makes you think I wouldn't continue my ways there? You say they would donate blood to me evenly, but what if I get greedy?

[He grows a little calmer, more exasperated.]

I'm not concerned about you hurting my people Vergil. Even should you go mad you would be no threat to them.

[He closes his eyes and breathes, opening them against.]

And it happens to be feeding into the self-destructive urge too. Even as the more sensible part of him tells him to fight that feeling.

It's hard to grapple with. Frightening, frankly. The last thing he actually wants is to hurt or anger Lahabrea and push him away?]
