A dream

[Dva, Raven, and Vergil will all find, whatever they are doing in their dreams tonight, that a strange portal appears invitingly before them. That looks safe! Well, at least Vergil is familiar with it.

They will find that taking it leads to a garden.]

I don't see what he's got to gain from this. Brownie points with Vergil? Ha. I don't think I'd be here if that were the case. And maybe I'm turning a blind eye to the obvious, but everything, lately, has slowly but surely been turning into a never-ending source of misery, so I'll take whatever bit of reprieve I can sink my claws into.

shadow's rumbling is very loud. he leans into the pets]

[ nods her head and gives shadow some scritches. he's a good demon cat. ] ...guess we'll see.

[... yeah shadow is actually starting to blob form now, he's enjoying himself]

But he's such a cute blob cat demon. [ she looks up at raven again. ] I bet I could turn you into a blob too. [ lifts a hand up and wiggles her fingers. ] I do have the magic touch, as you already know~

[play-bites at her fingers]

[ sprouts all four of her tentacles and uses one to boop his nose. ] Make me.

[huffs. shadow meanwhile, is looking at the tentacles with wide O_O eyes, like it just saw a fun new toy and would like very much to bat at them]

... it looks like we may be unwanted guests.

[ blinks, distracted by the distracted cat. ] Do you like those? [ moves them out of reach. ]

[shadow watches intently, lowering itself to the ground, tail swishing. getting ready to pounce...!]

[ she's going to do her best to keep him from getting the tentacles. ] You think you can get them, mm?

[but raven seems amused, as shadow frantically swipes at the tentacles. bat bat bat bat bat bat bat!!!!!]

[ huffs. ] I'm not being mean. [ she pokes his cheek with one of the tentacles and sticks her tongue out at him as she continues teasing shadow. ] Ah, look at that. [ she lets him have the other three tentacles to play with. ] Be nice though, alright, they're sensitive.

[sorry did you mean: go ahead and chew on the tentacles with your giant panther fangs? because that is what shadow is doing. this is food, right? this is food.]

[ NO IT'S NOT FOOD. ]

[ SQUEAKS. ]

SHADOW STOP, WHAT THE FUCK!

[shadow looks confused. :? i thought it was playtime, and also foodtime? why i can't gnaw on toys/food???? head tilt?????????

raven puts his hand on shadow's head and rubs its ears]

...for real. My tentacles aren't for snacking on. [ all four of them curl around her and she lifts a hand up, letting one of them nestle into it. ] It'll be alright. [ rubs a finger over its 'back'. ]

[shadow looks disappointed :<

and then rolls over to show its belly]

That is most certainly a trap.

[ she grabs all four of shadow's limbs and lifts him up off the ground... and then she sprouts some more tentacles to tickle him. ]

[in response shadow just turns into a blob. just a big inky blobby mass that flops bonelessly onto the ground, slipping out of her grip.

it's. it's just a puddle now.]

[ she's going to lay on that puddle and roll around like the feral idiot she is at heart. ]

[BLOB FRIEND. shadow coils some inky tendrils around dva in a """hug""".

raven is just watching them, amused]
