[Dva, Raven, and Vergil will all find, whatever they are doing in their dreams tonight, that a strange portal appears invitingly before them. That looks safe! Well, at least Vergil is familiar with it.

They will find that taking it leads to a garden.]

[Oh. He softens a little, leaning. His grammar is still messy, but might as well use as much as he can, not just for practice but because he likes the thought that the other two can't understand.]

It's...good of you to do something for them. But I thought we were done.

[He shakes his head.]

They need a bit more. A bit like you, they need an outlet. Be kind, they do care for you.

His familiars are already growling at me.

No it's exactly what I expected, but it's nothing to do with competition. It's what they are.

What are they?

They're my memories, essentially. Phantom versions of demons I knew, when I was taken over. I cut them out of me just as I did Raven, so I'm sure they're just as angry with me.
