Who knows? Whether it has always been here in this state, or pieces were somehow stolen from the human world, or if some battle between demonic forces occured here... It is not an uncommon sight.
[If he's paying attention while looking out at the scenery, it might become clear that they've ended up on what was the sky. Little difference between the two, but they aren't mirror images.]
You will find many parts of Hell care nothing for gravity or generally how time and space should work. It can be beautiful, I do want to show you such places, where it is not so awful to be here.
[How can ever he stand being looked at like that without turning red!]
You are sweet. I just thought it would be good to show you that my memories here are not all bad. That there are parts of it I would truly want to share with someone, not just for loneliness but to appreciate together.
When it is still and silent, strange, all stretching on so far... I do love this. But I did not give myself the time to enjoy it before.
I love being able to see it with you. Perhaps we will even discover explanations for such things, with your insights. I look forward to seeing what you will uncover.
I am certainly looking forward to studying the aether of this place. It is strange and unusual to me.
[He lifts a hand to touch something invisible, unless Vergil just sees how magic flows.]
It is not what I would consider natural, but I suppose here it must be. It will take time to get used to what is considered that natural flow of life here, and what is enchantment. To my eyes it is all strange, unbalanced and tainted. Yet if everything is corruption, is anything corrupted? It's fascinating.
Hm, perhaps corrupted by the standard of other worlds. But that is the natural state of being for us. The inverse of the human world. And things can certainly be corrupted.
No, there must be other cases. But I imagine they must be something similar, how else do you corrupt demons but forcibly alter them, if they already read as corrupt.
Alteration isn't necessarily corruption. But I suppose it will be recognizable if we do encounter it.
[He curls his fingers, looking up (down?) Again. Shaping a small spark of fire to flicker above his hand. It's blood red.]
It seems that I can yet manipulate the aether here at least. Though it will take getting used to. I wonder if, rather than corruption, it is elemental properties unknown to me.
Corruption as an element... what a fascinating thought. Though if that is the case I may need to rely on my own aether more than I anticipated. We shall have to see how safe it might be to replenish myself with the ambient aether of this place.
Not that it concerns me. I have more than enough reserves.
[Now that he's had time to replenish thousands of years of drained magic, he's basically back to why are ancients just god levels of magic.
He flicks his fingers, letting the aetheric flame dissipate, and then turns his gaze to Vergil, grinning and excited. New things! To study!]
I don't plan on exerting myself to that extent! The aether within me right now should be enough for ten thousand years of scheming against mortals, surely it can last a few years here. But I will keep it in mind.
[He tugs the back of Vergil's head to claim his lips in a passionate, if brief, kiss. Grinning at him from up close. Almost like they're on their honeymoon!]
However when it comes to asking anything of you and helping myself to all your realm has to offer, you can't take it back since you've invited me to. Though I would do so anyway.
[God he has a problem and it's being extremely in love with his husband! He returns the kiss and just leans his forehead to Lahabrea's, arms around his neck.]

I do not think I've seen anything quite like it. Remarkable.

[He smiles at Vergil, turning from the scenery to regard him with just, full adoration.]
But do show off anyway. All the places you wish to and more.

I want to bask in it with you. Hear all about your appreciation, the places and thoughts and quiet you enjoy. And yes, to enjoy it silently as well.
But thank you, it does ease my worries to hear of good things. Of what you love.

But I would be curious to see what true corruption looks like here.

I'm quite excited to learn more.

There is nothing better than seeing you so excited for learning. I can't even make a fuss about exerting yourself.
no subject
That's right! You can't make a fuss. You must simply pamper and indulge me in my whims and curiosity.

Yes dear, anything you wish. Ask anything of me, help yourself to everything my realm has to offer. I want to see you thrive.
And if you need to recharge then I will take you home just long enough to do so.

Do so even more than you would otherwise.

Is that possible?
